Your side hustle, finally in one place
Freelancers, contractors and side hustlers mix business and personal money every day. Halfway keeps them apart without a second app. Business tracking is now part of Plus as well as Premium, and the Business page has been rebuilt around the questions you actually ask.

The Business page
- Overview: profit, margin, income and expenses at the top, with a chart you can switch between monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- You overall: how much of your cost of living your business profit covers.
- Needs a look: expenses with no category, flagged before they skew your numbers.
- Breakdown: where the money goes and comes from, by category, merchant or frequency.
- P&L: by month, quarter or year, with a CSV export for your accountant.
Tax tools for the US
On Premium in the US, a Taxes tab does the Schedule C groundwork:
- Your categories map to Schedule C lines, including meals at 50%.
- Log trips in the IRS mileage log and the deduction flows straight into your totals.
- See a self-employment tax estimate, and export it all as CSV or PDF.
Rent, taxes and insurance are left for you to place, because home rent, income tax and health insurance aren't business deductions where they'd otherwise land.
Good to know
- Up to 5 businesses per person.
- Tap the + on the Business page and the transaction is already filed under that business.
- Reports has a Business section too, with a link to the full business report for the same dates.
- Outside the US you get the Overview, the P&L and the CSV export, which work in any country.
Business is always personal. Your partner never sees your businesses or their transactions.
