What you earn

You earn when a household subscribes with your code. Renewals do not earn again.

One subscription covers both partners. Two people never means two payments, and your commission is never split in half.

US and Canada subscriptions

That is where Halfway Premium is sold. Elsewhere people use the free plan or buy Halfway Plus through the app stores, where we cannot see who referred them, so those do not earn commission.

    The form below takes about a minute. We only ask for what we need to make a decision.

    We read it

    Every application is read by a person, and you will hear back within five business days either way. We are selective, because your audience's trust is what is being spent here.

    We enable it on your account

    If it is a fit, we turn the program on for your Halfway account and email you to say so. No separate portal, no second password. Sign in as you always do and your code, your link and your numbers are waiting.

    You get paid

    Monthly, by bank transfer, once your balance passes $50. Anything under that carries forward.

If you cannot accept commission

Plenty of advisors and planners work to standards that rule out payment from anyone but the client. Tell us on the form and we will give you a code in your name that takes 40% off your clients' first year and pays you nothing.

Your clients get a better deal than anyone else's audience, and you have nothing to disclose, because there is nothing to disclose.

Your code does not expire. We match on the code at checkout rather than on a browser cookie, so someone who hears it on a podcast and subscribes two months later on a different device still counts as yours.

Halfway Premium is sold in the United States and Canada. Everywhere else people use our free plan or Halfway Plus, which sells through the App Store and Google Play, where we have no way to see who referred the customer. So commission is earned on US and Canada subscriptions only. If your audience is mostly elsewhere we will tell you that in our reply rather than let you find out from an empty statement.

No, but you do need a Halfway account, because that is where your affiliate dashboard lives. There is no separate portal and no second password. If it is a fit, we enable the program on the account you already sign in with.

Yes, and we ask you to confirm it when you apply. Say it plainly, somewhere people will actually see it. Wording like "paid link" works; "commissionable link" does not, because most people do not know what it means.

Yes. Your code takes 30% off their first year, so sharing it is worth something to them whether or not they care that it is worth something to you.
