Dark Mode
Our most-requested look is finally here. Dark Mode swaps the bright background for deep, comfortable tones that are easy on your eyes, especially when you are checking the budget late at night or reviewing shared expenses before bed. It looks great on OLED screens and can even save a little battery. Every screen, chart, and card has been carefully tuned so your numbers stay crisp and readable in the dark.
The Vibrant Theme
Want something with a little more personality? The new Vibrant theme brings a bolder, more energetic look with richer accents over a confident charcoal base. It keeps everything clean and legible while giving Halfway a distinctive, modern feel that stands apart from the usual finance-app grey.
The Classic Light Theme
Prefer the original? The Light theme is still the default: warm, calm, and easy to read, with the soft, friendly palette Halfway is known for. Nothing changes unless you want it to.
Switch in Seconds
Changing your theme takes one tap. Open Settings > Display and choose Light, Dark, or Vibrant. Your choice applies instantly across the entire app, so you can try all three and keep whichever feels most like you. Changed your mind at midnight? Switch back just as fast.
